Julius The Chihuahua

Another crazy pet pic...crazy because I didn't dress the dog up in a tu-tu, stand him on his hind legs and pose him like a ballerina. Just a dog being a dog. I must be nuts.

This Chihuahua is named Julius and belongs to my nephew in NC. His best friend is Gimley (see previous post). This was taken the same time I did Gimley's pics. 

Julius is a bit older and occasionally would start to doze off while sitting up..I have several pictures of him just sitting there half asleep. Maybe that's why he didn't smile?

Pet Photography

This bulldog's name in Gimley and he belongs to my niece in NC. I did this mainly for fun as I don't really market myself as a pet photographer. I decided to post it on the blog because of the reaction people have when they see it...

Awwwwwwww, he's sooo cute!. 

Pet photography is becoming big business. Some people seem to really enjoy dressing up their pets and putting them in very human-like conditions to get a cute picture. Personally, if I'm trying to get a portrait of a dog,  I'd rather try to get a cute picture of him being what he is...a dog. Call me crazy...
