Preserve Your History

Photography measures time in a way that can frighten you. Look at old pictures of your now teenaged kids, or even photos of yourself. It makes you realize how much time has actually gone by, and that we're only here for a short time. That's why you need to preserve a good deal of your history. Now that photography is digital, it could last centuries.

Photography is less than 200 years old. It's amazing that now we have the ability to take any photo out of our camera and manipulate it to create our own work of art. It's not unlike what photographers were doing in the Pictorialism period of the late 1800's and early 1900's. But instead of utilizing lens coatings or putting scratches in the print to give it texture, we can now simply click the "old retro" button on a smartphone app.

Whatever the means, your history is worth preserving.
