Mind of the Camera

Sometimes the camera seems to have it's own mind and it's own ideas of what your trying to capture. You do the manipulating of the camera settings, but at times the camera sees what it wants to see. I probably let the camera win more times than I should, but there are times when I'm glad I did. The results are often much better than I expected.

Sometimes the camera sees things in a different way than I see them. Rather than battling with a piece of machinery, I'll go with the cameras point of view just to keep things moving. Nobody wants to stay in any sort of pose while you're trying to figure out the best combinations of settings on the camera.

It's for this reason that working your camera should be second nature. Knowing how to work your camera in your sleep leaves you more time to compose and be creative when you're trying to shoot photos. The manual that came with your camera should be read over and over.
