The Trick to Getting Good Pictures

 I think it was Chase Jarvis who said, "the dirty secret to getting good pictures is to take a lot of them." That couldn't be more true. I took Julia out last week to check out a spot I'm doing some portraits at and she was her usual uncooperative self...."there's too many bugs, I'm too itchy, there's an ant on that tree..." I kept taking pictures until I couldn't take the whining anymore. I didn't think I captured anything usable, but these two are good examples of unposed expressions...and the result of taking a lot of pictures.
